January 9, 2011

Three pictures for today! The long day started out with scraping the ice off of my dad's car with our library cards. Our ice scraper was in the van. The cards worked very well, and soon we were on our way, on a trip that would stretch over four hours as we had lots of car problems.
I spent the evening and went out to eat with some dear friends who had moved to Washington. It was a wonderful time with random conversations, good (and highly caloric) food, and fun. When I took this photo my friend said "eww. a picture of your burger?" but I was trying to get the Red Robin logo xD. Below is a photo of a Shadow Box I made for these friends. It was going to be my photo for Wednesday but I did not take it until Sunday.
I loved taking the time to make this craft/present, and it was really neat to see their reaction. They loved it :D Its always nice to make something for someone, and know that they like it!!

This is from Jesus Culture. It is a conference in R-------, aimed at training and encouraging teens to reach their world for Christ. I did not bring my Canon with me, so this was taken with my Nikon L18. There was a lot of haze from the smoke machines, but it was a good conference.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday I did not take a photo. I did have ideas of what to photograph, but did not get to it :( I guess the project will extend to cover up those days. This day (Friday) I made a Deep Conditioning treatment for my hair out of oil and honey. It was fun, and I learned next time I will squeeze the extra liquid out to avoid drips on my face and clothes, and will condition my hair after the treatment to fully remove the oil. Later that night we went to Jesus Culture, and stayed there for two days.

January 3rd, 2011

This has been my viewpoint for the majority of today. I have been editing powerpoint presentations to aid my dad in his consulting work. I am thankful for this fairly easy first job, as I can stay at home, do it on my own time, and listen to music while I search for tpyos.
(that was intentional xD)

January 2nd, 2011

I took this photo on the 3rd, because I got home super late. The wristband is from the bowling alley. Last night I went to a worship/prayer night with some of my friends from my college youth group. After a good time with God, we headed over to the Bowling alley for late night bowling. The price was very reasonable...my score was a little less than. My highest was a 95.

Happy New Year!
This year I will attempt to post a picture a day again. 2010 flew by like a Jet Plane! Today we had Cuban Pork, rice, beans, salad, and flan. It was delicious.

20 lb. Pork Leg.

October

In October, I went to two concerts and Disneyland. My grandfather passed away. I turned in my first Essay (as a full time college student) and had a successful re-write. I learned how terrible stress is, and am in the process of learning how to beat it. Here are a few photos from this crazy month:
This photo is from the Rock of Ages Concert. The sky was so amazing!
This is Josh from the band Manafest. He was really nice!
